Wolves should focus on strikers, not Gollini
Wolves are reportedly interested in Atalanta goalkeeper Pierluigi Gollini, who was recently on loan at Tottenham before Antonio Conte decided not to sign him on a permanent basis.
According to Tutto Atalanta, Julen Lopetegui is looking to add some competition in the goalkeeping department for Jose Sa, and Gollini is being considered as a possible option, with the 27-year-old set to return to Bergamo this month after another disappointing loan spell this season, this time at ACF Fiorentina.
Gollini has made just three Serie A appearances for the Florentine club this season after a disastrous year on loan with Tottenham, who chose not to sign the former Atalanta star on a permanent deal after he failed to impress in north London.

Wolves are still in the relegation zone after a disastrous start to the season at Molineux. And, while Gollini would be a good signing and would provide some much-needed competition for Sa, Lopetegui has far more pressing concerns than bringing in a backup goalkeeper.
Wolves have the worst goalscoring record in the Premier League this season, with just 11 goals in 18 matches, and signing a player like Gollini will do little to reassure fans that change is on the way under Lopetegui and during this transfer window. There's no denying that Gollini is a talented player, with the Atalanta-owned goalkeeper once considered a potential regular for the Italian national team. However, the shot-stopper is the last thing Wolves need if Lopetegui is to rebuild the Premier League side this month. As previously stated, Wolves' lack of goals this season is the primary reason why the Black Country club is ranked so low in the Premier League. And, given how badly the Molineux club needs attackers, signing a goalkeeper would only enrage fans.
